Entry 11 – Comparative film Analysis 19/10/2011
I’m going to compare the original Planet of the Apes, Franklin J. Shaffer (1968) with the 2001 remake by Tim Burton. I have created a moodboard to use as a starting point into my research.

Entry 9 – Finished Film Analysis 12/10/2011
I have finished writing my film analysis. I was pleased with my work but I felt a bit hampered with the word count of 1000 words. It felt like I was trying to cram too much information into the report and instead of applying one analysis effectively I was explaining 3 of them in small detail.
Entry 8 – Film Analysis 05/10/2011
I have started writing my film analysis and decided to choose James Cameron and his two superb sci-fi sequels Aliens and Terminator 2. I intend to apply the analytical approaches Genre Study, Narrative Structure Theory and Audience Reception Study to show the cultural impact and significance of this films on our society.
